In the Middle of the Valley...there are huge rocks! Meteora, Kalambaka, Greece

On April 3, 2016, after having these huge pretzels and donuts, we took a five hour scenic train ride from Athens (Larisa station) to Kalambaka, Greece. Located on the northern side of Greece is the miracle of nature ... the rocks of Meteora, Greece (also known as "middle of the sky"). Many monasteries on top of these breathtaking pinnacles were built during the Byzantine times. Currently, there are only six monasteries operating at Meteora. James Bond movie "For Your Eyes Only" was filmed here. Find time to squeeze this in your travel itinerary when you visit Greece. You will not be disappointed!

As you can see in this photo (taken at Twin Peaks in San Francisco), we are dog lovers. We have three little furry children - Armani, Daphne, and Chloe. They too love to travel, but not all places are pet friendly. We will share with you our travel experiences, tips, itineraries, secrets, as well as pet friendly places to go and stay with your Fido.
